Potential of Coalition Politics Reducing Tribalism
Contemporary political trajectroy in kenya is leaning more towards coalition politics. Interestingly, political parties are consolidating at regional and sub-regional levels. With these parties forming coalitions either before or after election periods, one can hypothesise that this emerging trend is likely to anchor Kenyan politics more at the regional and sub-regional levels (a form of decentralization). If Human development is the output, then developmental politics is likely to gradually eat the space occupied by politics of ethnicity
